LitPro is a sociocultural project designed to establish intercultural dialog between Lithuania and Belarus.  The project is being successfully carried out since 2007 at European Humanities University.

Our Objectives:

• To strengthen cultural links between Lithuania and Belarus and keep the search for new forms of cooperation.

• To teach Lithuanian language to EHU students, lecturers and employees, to get them acquainted with Lithuanian history and culture.

• To organize and implement conjoint Belarusian and Lithuanian initiatives and projects on the bases of European Humanities University

Spheres of activity:

• Conjoint Belarusian and Lithuanian cultural and social projects (FotoLab, *K.V. and PreView festivals);

• Seminars, workshops, master classes discussions with Lithuanian and Belarusian experts;

• Excursions around Lithuania for EHU students, lecturers and employees;

• Ethnographic research of Lithuania;

• Lithuanian language courses and language summer schools for EHU students, lecturers and employees.

Possibilities:

Each year LitPro announces a call for educational and cultural projects proposals. LitPro provides financial and organization support.

The project is carried out in partnership with Department of Lithuanian Studies of Vilnius University and supported by the Development cooperation and Democracy promotion department at the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
